Sports and Arts Academies

As more and more choices continue to open up in B.C.’s education system, many schools and districts have begun to offer specialized programs such as sports and arts academies. These programs – integrated with the regular academic program – allow students to complete their education and, at the same time, develop specialized skills and talents.

Sports and arts academies are run by schools and districts with a wide variety of programs to choose from. To learn what’s available, contact your local school district or use the school choices tool to search all schools in the province. Remember: with open boundaries, students can now attend any public school, anywhere in B.C., as long as space permits.
