VLN Elementary is a public elementary school located at Van Horne Elementary School in Vancouver. We have been serving home learners from K - 7 since 1985 with print-based programs supplemented by internet-based activities. Our program includes opportunities for field trips and school-based activities such as performances and assemblies at our home school.

Learn@Home 8-12 officially opened in 2006. It is the evolution of SD68's history of web-based and distributive learning aimed at meeting the needs of various learners that wanted to and/or needed to work outside a structured block system. Learn@Home strives to provide dynamic and flexible educational experiences through web-based and portfolio-based curriculum.

C.E.A.P. (SD 69 Qualicum) brings 13 years of experience to our progressive Kindergarten to Grade 10 distributed learning program. We are known for our carefully selected online and print resources, collaborative community of learners, knowledgeable, supportive teachers and understanding of individual learning styles and purposes. Burnaby Online is an inclusive, caring and expansive K to 12 educational service that includes students, teachers, parents, and the community in the ‘community of learners’. It is now in its fourth year providing quality programming to students throughout British Columbia. We are expanding each year, with growth driven by increased access to education coupled with the successful outcome of students. Our focus has broadened to provide equity of access for all students, at all ages, to achieve their educational goals. We work closely with all educational settings to meet student needs.

Delta's Home Quest program is designed for students in Kindergarten to Grade 7. The staff at Home Quest is committed to providing quality educational instruction and support to students and families seeking an alternative to a traditional classroom-based model. Home Quest offers a variety of weekly face-to-face classes throughout the year, which will cover many of the prescribed learning outcomes in subject areas such as Fine Arts, Physical Education, Language Arts, French, Science and Math. The classes, as well as field trips and special events, provide opportunities for students to gain experiences that might be difficult to provide in individual settings. They allow for social interaction, and assist in long-term skill development as each class builds on the skills of past experiences. Our goal is to offer classes and learning experiences that broaden each student’s educational base and provide enriching experiences, within the guidelines of a Distributed Learning program.
