Financing Your Future:

Provincial Scholarship Information
Grade 12 Graduation Program Examinations Scholarship: The Ministry of Education grants $1000 and $2500 scholarships based on Provincial Examination results to students who meet the established criteria. Provincial Scholarships may only be redeemed by enrolling in a regular program (ie.a program that leads to a credential) at an approved post-secondary or apprenticeship institute.

Passport to Education
To offset the cost of future tuition fees, Grade 10 and 12 students can earn a $250 Passport stamp, based on academic and non-academic achievements. Check with your school for specifice requirements.

Dogwood/ District Authority Awards

These $1,000 scholarships are awarded to graduating students who excel in: fine arts; applied skills; physical activity and second languages. Check with your school district to apply for these awards.

Secondary School Apprenticeship Scholarships
These $1,000 scholarships are awarded to graduating secondary school apprentices who successfully complete SSA 11A, 11B, 12A and 12B, maintain a C+ average or better in their Grade 12 numbered courses and who continue working or training full-time in the trade for at least six months after secondary school graduation.
